Soil Net-50 polymer is used for soil stabilization in prairies, where plants are sensitive to mineral salts and sensitive areas next to the receiving waters of the state (lakes, rivers, wetlands). It is a dry granular formulation free of dust particles highly effective in binding. Due to its low toxicity (Wisconsin DNR approves its use up to 400 lbs per acre); it is a very safe product to use in sensitive areas.
Construction application - Year around Soil Net-50 polymer is the best erosion control tool when the final land use is prairie, wetlands or construction on steep slopes next to lakes or rivers.
Apply the Soil Net-50 polymer when the soil is bare or partially covered, to prevent pore sealing and crust formation, and to improve infiltration and water retention in the soil. Soil Net-50 has a very high water clarification component. Use 30-100 lbs/acre of polymer depending on the slope and the type of soil surface all year around during construction.
Agricultural application - Early spring and late fall During tilling of the soil and early stage of the crop, after germination, Soil Net-50 prevents soil loss, prevents crust formation, maintains infiltration, improves water retention, and improves aggregate stability. Use 5-30 lbs/acre of polymer.
